Tierra Verde Resort, built by Guy Lombardo in the early 1960s, boasts a 278,000-gallon free-form swimming pool, large hot tub, game room, and marina offering boat, waverunner, and jet-ski rentals. Tierra Verde Resort also has lighted tennis courts on-site. A vehicle is recommended to experience the historic Fort de Soto Park located on the island.
