The city Visby is known for its 3.5 km long wall, dating from the 13th Century, which surrounds the city. Within the walls, you will find densely built houses with narrow alleyways, restaurants, pubs and interesting shops where you can buy ceramics and leather goods. Gotland has wonderful long beaches, ideal for windsurfers, famous rock formations called Raukar and of course, Gotland's most famous attraction - Lummelunda - a dripstone cave with unique formations.
