Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe is situated at 2300 metres and guarantees a high mountain atmosphere and exceptional snow conditions. It is an extensive ski area with 600 km of ski runs and 200 ski lifts; the "3 valles" (Courchevel, La Tania, Maribel, Saint Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens) is the largest ski-area in the world.
