Le Ville del Magara

The mountainous country of the National Park of Calabria is a charming area of southern Italy. Within the region is Le Ville del Magara, located in the Sila Grande at an altitude of nearly one mile, and just a short distance from the Sila lakes. This is an ideal cross-country ski area during the winter and a very quiet area in the summer. Apart from the wide variety of natural wonders, guests also can admire the medieval villages that maintain intact their ancient traditions and many well-preserved buildings of Byzantine origin.
