This resort is located in the popular purpose-built skiing area of Marilleva (1400mt). A ski lift starting from just outside Marilleva 1400 leads into an inter-linking system covering, with neighbouring Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio, some 150km of ski runs. Capo D'Orso Marina is situated a short walk from Palau harbour, on the north eastern coast of Sardinia, just opposite the beautiful island of La Maddalena. Palau slopes down to the sea on one side of the bay and has a large marina. From here it is possible to take excursions tothe nearby islands of Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi and Budelli.
